John Paulsen has been playing fantasy football for almost two decades and has served up fantasy advice to readers since 2005. Two seasons ago, he was named FantasyPros’ Most Accurate Expert of 2010, beating out almost 40 experts from ESPN, Yahoo, FoxSports (and more) in a contest that measured the accuracy of weekly rankings. In a 67-expert field in 2011, he finished second by a mere 0.006%. Also in 2011, the had the Most Accurate Preseason Rankings out of 46 sites/experts according to the FFLibrarian/Fantasy Sports Trade Association.
In 2011, John joined 4for4.com as a part-time Contributing Editor and will serve as a full-time Senior Editor in 2012, publishing preseason and weekly rankings along with several articles (Waiver Wire Watch, Sneaky Starts and Defensive Team By Waiver Wire) each week. See his work here.
In 2007, John was also awarded the Best Humor Article by the Fantasy Sports Writers Association and was nominated for the same award in 2010.
In college, John started on UW-Platteville’s undefeated 1995 D3 National Championship basketball team, which was guided by current University of Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan. He has a degree in Industrial Engineering, so he utilizes his statistics background to deliver some of the best advice available.
